Performance scores
A 2023 ProBook 450 G10 with 64 GB of RAM on a recent platform — fairly priced
The HP ProBook 450 G10 (2023) pairs an Intel Processor U300 with 64 GB of RAM and lands at $609, comfortably above the business-class median of about $297. The standout figures are memory (64 GB, "pro" level) and a graphics score of 14.08 that sits above the category median because most business laptops have integrated graphics only. The Intel Processor U300 is a recent low-tier CPU, and overall the verdict flags no serious weak spot by level.
A recent platform with pro-tier memory
The ProBook 450 G10 benefits from a recent (2023) Intel platform, so it should age better than older siblings, and the 64 GB of RAM at a "pro" level is genuine headroom for memory-bound office and developer workflows. Capability data confirms minimum-level fit for Overwatch, GTA V, Rainbow Six Siege, and Visual Studio Code, which covers everyday office, casual eSports, and development duties.
The Intel Processor U300 is a low-tier CPU
Honestly, the "no serious weak spot" verdict needs context: the Intel Processor U300 is a recent but low-tier part, so the absence of a flagged weakness reflects how it compares to other business laptops rather than absolute performance. Buyers running sustained CPU-heavy workloads should expect entry-level throughput, not performance-class speed. The graphics score of 14 is also "office level" by absolute capability, even though it places above the category median.
Steeper depreciation, typical of a recent model
From a base near $1300, the laptop has depreciated to $609 at roughly 10.6% per year, with a projected value around $487 in two years. The curve is steeper than older models, reflecting how recent it is.
Pricier siblings are missing — cheaper Dell alternatives
The close analogs listed are both cheaper: the HP EliteBook 1040 G9 ($536) and Dell Latitude 5450 ($569), which offer similar recent business-class hardware for somewhat less money.
Bottom line
The ProBook 450 G10 is a fair pick for a buyer who wants a recent business platform with serious memory headroom and decent everyday capability. The Intel Processor U300 is an honest constraint on CPU-heavy work, and the price is on the higher side for the bracket — buyers who do not need 64 GB of RAM can find similar recent platforms for less.
