Lenovo LOQ 15IRX11 review

Lenovo LOQ 15IRX11 (2025) — the ten-core current LOQ in the compact cut

The LOQ 15IRX11 at $1,440 pairs a ten-core Intel Core i5 13450HX with a GeForce RTX 5050 (8 GB) and 32 GB of RAM. The flagged strength is mobility at 44 — 51.7% above the gaming-class median of 29 — with reliability at 75 (+41.5%) behind it. The flagged weakness is memory: 32 GB against the class's 64 GB median.

Where it holds up

Photo design posts 87 (top) with office at 87.4 (top) and gaming at 79 (high); the RTX 5050 clears the recommended bar for Overwatch, Grand Theft Auto V and Rainbow Six Siege, and the Photoshop and Visual Studio Code minimums are met. Overall performance reads 56.6 (mid) and the modeling/CAD pair 55 (mid) on the mainstream HX silicon.

Where it falls short

The 32 GB ceiling is the flagged gap, portability reads 31 (low) — the 15-inch chassis tax — and the value index lands at 32.4 (low): the 20%-curve first-year price on a mid-tier GPU. The compact cut also posts a softer index card than its 17-inch sibling.

Price and depreciation

No depreciation anchor is recorded (base $0); no curve or projection applies. The 2025 cohort rate is 20% per year — the steep band that current-generation machines accept.

Alternatives to consider

The LOQ 17IRX10 at the same $1,440 is the same platform in the 17-inch body with a far stronger card (modeling 94 top, value 62.1); the Gigabyte Aero X16 at $1,440 pairs the RTX 5060 with five top indices; and the Lenovo LOQ 15IRX9 at $1,152 is the prior-generation value-stronger cut.

Bottom line

Fairly priced for the class. The compact current-LOQ with top-band photo and cleared gaming bars — with value 32.4 (low) and portability 31 as the honest first-year, compact-format terms. Office 87.4 (top) and photo 87 (top) are the sheet's two top-band readings.
