Performance scores
MSI Prestige 13 AI+ (A3M) (2026) — the clean-sheet successor
The Prestige 13 AI+ (A3M) at $1,400 is the 2026 refresh of the compact Prestige: a Core Ultra 7 355 with Intel Xe3 integrated graphics (4-core) and 64 GB of RAM — the flagged ceiling, 100% above the ultrabook-class median. The flagged strength is graphics performance at 45.85 (mainstream level for the class); the verdict records no serious weak spots.
Where it holds up
The Xe3 generation changes the integrated-graphics story: gaming posts 75 (high) — against the 2025 model's unscored band — with photo design 86 (top) and office productivity 91.91 (top). Overwatch, Grand Theft Auto V and Rainbow Six Siege clear their recommended bars, portability reads 89.2 (top) in the kilogram-class body, and the 64 GB ceiling doubles the class median. Value posts 35.5 (mid).
Where it falls short
The verdict's clean sheet is literal: no low-band axis anywhere on this sheet — the rare 2026 machine that can say so. Modeling and engineering CAD sit mid at 53 and value at 35.5 (mid), the honest launch-price reading shared across this generation's $1,400 shelf.
Price and depreciation
No depreciation anchor is recorded (base $0); no curve or projection applies. As a 2026 listing there is no cohort history yet — full first-year exposure, no curve to lean on.
Alternatives to consider
The Prestige 13 AI+ (A2V) at $1,232 is the 2025 predecessor for $168 less with the gaming-band asterisk; the Prestige 16 AI+ (C3M) at $1,400 is the same platform on a 16-inch canvas (portability 49).
Bottom line
Fairly priced for the class. The cleanest sheet on the 2026 compact shelf: top portability, top office, gaming-high on integrated graphics and 64 GB — with a mid value reading as the only sober note.
