Performance scores
The 2021 Strix carry seat
The 2021 ROG Strix G15 G513 pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 4800H with a GTX 1650 and a full 64 GB of RAM at $590. The CPU score of 75.53 runs above the class median in the high band, and the mobility index of 36 — while low in absolute terms — sits in the class's top quarter: this 15-inch body carries better than most of its shelf.
The flagged weakness is the battery: 56 Wh against a class median of 71. The absolute levels frame the five-year-old platform: photo and design 82 high, office 91.91 top, general performance 80.45 high, gaming 74 high, value 84.15 high. Portability reads 37 mid — the best carry number of this platform family.
Flags green at the tier
Overwatch, Grand Theft Auto V, and Rainbow Six Siege clear recommended; Photoshop and Visual Studio Code clear minimums. The 1650's light-gaming scope is confirmed, not assumed.
Depreciation math
The anchor reads 13.44% yearly with no base price attached. Five years in at $590, the value index of 84.15 — high band — prices the platform as fully matured.
Who should buy it
The buyer who wants the 64 GB memory allocation and a confirmed light-gaming card at a mid-budget ticket, and accepts the 56 Wh battery as the honest trade.
Bottom line: photo 82 high, office 91.91 top, performance 80.45 high, gaming 74 high, value 84.15 high — the 2021 platform's columns hold their bands five years on, with a full 64 GB of memory and five green flags. The 56 Wh battery flag is the honest deduction; the portability index at 37 mid is the family's best carry number. Five years of a 13.44% curve are in the $590 ticket; the CPU column reads 75.53 high, and the value index says the market finished this math long ago. The 15-inch seat is the family's carry answer.
