Performance scores
A real graphics card on the premium shelf
The 2023 Zenbook 14X OLED (UX3404) answers the ultrabook shelf's usual question — where is the GPU? — with an RTX 3050: graphics performance measures 63.1 against a class median of 3.84, more than fifteen times the shelf standard, in the top quarter of the catalog. A Core i5 13500H and 32 GB of RAM complete the sheet at $954, with the composite score of 63 also top quarter.
The flagged weakness is mobility at 52 against a class median of 64 — the dGPU and its cooling cost the body some of the shelf's carry posture. The absolute levels: photo and design 90 top, office 87.4 top, general performance 60.94 mid, gaming 57 mid. Portability reads 62.4 mid and value 44.75 mid — the premium ticket partially repaid.
Receipts on the sheet
Overwatch, Grand Theft Auto V, and Rainbow Six Siege clear recommended; Photoshop and Visual Studio Code clear minimums. On a shelf of integrated-only peers, this seat's flags are the exception.
Depreciation math
The anchor reads 10.62% yearly with no base price attached. Three years in at $954, the mid-band value reading says the premium has not fully burned off — the card is what holds the price.
Who should buy it
The premium-shelf buyer who refuses the integrated-graphics compromise. The mobility note is the cost of the card; the green sheet is the reward.
Bottom line: photo and design 90 top, office 87.4 top, and a graphics column more than fifteen times the class median, confirmed by five green flags — the premium shelf rarely carries a working dGPU, and this seat is the exception at $954. The mobility flag at 52 and the mid-band portability of 62.4 price the card's cooling; value 44.75 mid prices the badge. Three years of a 10.62% curve are in the ticket; the card is what holds the price, and the flags are why.
