What the Exynos 2400 is

Samsung's return to flagship Exynos silicon after two years of Snapdragon-only flagships. The Exynos 2400 powered the European variants of the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus and later appeared in the S25 FE and Z Flip 7 FE. Benchmarks: about 2,100 single-core / 6,800 multi-core Geekbench 6 and around 2.05 million AnTuTu — within a few percent of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on paper.

Real-world performance

The paper parity mostly holds in apps: everyday speed, camera processing, and AI features are indistinguishable from Snapdragon siblings. The two places the gap shows are sustained gaming (the Xclipse 940 GPU, an AMD RDNA design, throttles a bit earlier; our gaming score lands at 53/100 versus 54 for the Snapdragon S24) and efficiency under load — battery-life scores are close (both around 17/100 on a 4,000 mAh pack) but the Snapdragon runs cooler in long sessions. For most buyers this is a rounding error, not a decision driver.

Why this matters for used buyers

Exynos variants are geographically uneven: Europe and some Asian markets got Exynos S24/S24+, North America and most others got Snapdragon. On the used market, Exynos units often list slightly cheaper — a fair discount to take if you are not a heavy gamer, and a reason to check which variant you are buying if you are. The S25 FE and Z Flip 7 FE shipped Exynos 2400 worldwide, which makes them the easiest way to get this chip without variant roulette.

If the price is right, the Exynos 2400 is a perfectly good flagship chip in 2026 — take the discount on S24 Exynos units unless you play demanding 3D games for hours. For maximum headroom, the Snapdragon S24 or the S25 FE with its longer update runway are the safer bets.
