How we evaluate phones

2Pick is an independent informational portal. We do not sell phones โ€” we help you choose one with full and transparent information.

Our phone rankings and recommendations are built on:

โ€ข Objective specifications (chipset, display, battery, camera hardware, charging, software support)
โ€ข 0โ€“100 axis scores computed from those specs with deterministic formulas โ€” the same inputs always produce the same score (gaming, camera, battery, everyday use, screen, longevity, value)
โ€ข US market prices: entry prices per configuration variant and used-price medians from active eBay US listings
โ€ข Availability checks โ€” ranked lists only include phones actually purchasable in the US
โ€ข Role-based fits: for each role, phones are scored by percentile within the phone catalog, so a phone is judged against its peers

We leave fields empty rather than guess. Missing measured data (for example lab-tested camera or battery results) is never replaced by invented numbers; where a verdict rests on specifications alone, the page says so. Measured editorial scores from nanoreview.com are collected and shown on phone review pages with source attribution; the rankings themselves use our deterministic spec-based formulas.
