Display and design

The 120 Hz jump over the A24's 90 Hz plus the same 1,000-nit rating makes the A25's panel the class benchmark (screen 63/100). The 197 g body is conventional plastic; no ingress rating is published. Like its sibling, the update window has closed — buy it for what it is today.

Performance

The Exynos 1280 trades peak speed for efficiency and a modem: everyday 37/100, gaming 7/100, with 5G as the functional differentiator over the A24. Samsung's One UI runs cleanly on it.

Camera

The 50 MP stabilized main with 4K30 video leads; the 8 MP ultrawide is usable, the 2 MP auxiliary is nominal. Camera 27/100 — a real step up from the A24's rig in both stills and video.

Battery and charging

Verdict

At about $122 used, the A25 5G is arguably the value floor for a fast-refresh AMOLED with 5G and a competent stabilized camera. The closed update window is the main caveat; buyers wanting runway should start higher in Samsung's line, or accept the A24 4G as an even cheaper screen-and-battery play.
