Every dollar went into the battery and the screen; if your phone life is messaging, video, and navigation, that is a rational trade. It is not a phone for photographers or gamers, and it does not pretend to be.

Display and design

The 6.81-inch OLED at 144 Hz with 1,200 nits peak scores 75/100 — big, fluid, and bright enough for outdoor use, which is generous at this price. The 224 g body carries the giant cell with expected heft; compactness scores 66/100, and case-on one-handed use is a stretch. IP69 sealing is a genuine bonus in this segment.

Performance

The Dimensity 6300 is entry silicon: everyday 41/100 covers messaging, maps, and video acceptably, with stutters under load. Gaming 5/100 is the floor of the catalog — this is not a gaming device under any settings.
