Display and design

The 6.8-inch panel is an LCD this time, at 144 Hz and 450 nits — smooth motion, middling contrast, honestly scored 48/100. At 200 g with IP52, it reads as a large practical slab rather than a design piece. The Edge line's identity here is endurance-per-dollar, not glamour.

The Snapdragon 778G delivers the same dependable profile as across Motorola's range: everyday 57/100, gaming 14/100. Paired with the LCD's lower power draw, the chip stretches the battery further than the OLED siblings manage — the whole phone is arranged around that one multiplier.
