Lenovo ThinkCentre M90n review: specs, options & used prices

What this machine is

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M90n is a small form factor from 2018, and on the used market it is one of the straightforward ways to get a complete, serviceable computer for a modest sum.

Business-line machines are the backbone of the secondary PC market for a practical reason: they were sold in large volumes to offices, serviced professionally, and then retired in bulk.

Only 2 tracked listings survive for this model, so treat any quoted price as indicative rather than a market consensus.

Configurations you will actually see

The CPU options we track for the ThinkCentre M90n are the Core i5-8265U and Core i7-8665U. These are 8th-generation Intel Core parts. From the 8th generation on, these generally meet Windows 11 requirements.

Memory options run from 8 GB to 8 GB (8 GB). 8 GB is workable for one person; 16 GB is the comfortable setting for typical office and home use.

Solid-state storage options include 120GB SSD and 256GB NVMe.

Upgrade path and running costs

The full-size case leaves room for standard parts and a conventional power supply, which makes this one of the easiest classes of machine to upgrade and repair.

Who it fits

If the task is browsing, office documents, video calls, or a kiosk/POS role, the ThinkCentre M90n does the job at a low sensible price.

Full specifications, current options and tracked prices live on its spec sheet; the desktop catalog and the Lenovo desktops page help place it among the alternatives.

Verdict

Judged as a tool rather than a toy, the ThinkCentre M90n holds a clear niche at the sensible end of the used market.

Price data is thin for this model, so compare current listings directly rather than relying on a quoted median — configuration differences dominate on this class of machine.

Our composite LB Score currently sits at 32/100 — a score that mostly reflects the platform age — use it to compare like with like, not against modern hardware.
